The data you provide via our contact form is sent to us by email and stored in an online folder where we keep all your email correspondence. We delete this correspondence after one year if the trip with us has taken place and the information is no longer relevant or necessary.

Your Passport Data

You share personal data with us, including your full names (as shown in your passport), date of birth, and passport number. We handle these carefully! We use this data to issue your booking confirmation and pass it to our local travel partner in Peru to purchase tickets and secure reservations. Your data is printed on Trail tickets, which must be presented along with your passport for access.

We ensure that our partners receive only the data necessary for their specific tasks. We also use antivirus protection to safeguard stored personal data.

Data Retention

We keep your data no longer than necessary and perform regular clean-ups:

• After 1 year, we delete email correspondence containing passport data.
• After 7 years, we delete booking confirmations containing passport data.

We retain booking confirmation data slightly longer for accounting purposes, to document revenue and costs to the tax authorities.

Who do we share your data with?

As described above, we share certain data with our local partners in Peru to purchase tickets. These details are necessary for their specific work. We also share IP address data with Google Analytics to analyze the number and type of visitors to our website. Finally, booking confirmations are shared with our accountant to document revenue and costs.

Modifying or Deleting Your Personal Data

If you want us to modify or delete your data, please contact us by email. We will delete the requested data and forward the request to our local travel partners.
