Hiking from KM104 to Machu Picchu…

This is the shortest Trail in our offerings and takes 2 days. The important thing to note is that during this Trail you won’t sleep in a tent in the mountains, but you will arrive on foot via the Sun Gate in Machu Picchu. It’s a Trail that is manageable for anyone with a normal level of fitness.

Highlights of the 2-Day Inca Trail:

  • Intipunku – the Sun Gate of the Incas, which serves as the entrance to Machu Picchu and offers a stunning view of the city
  • Inca complexes: Chachabamba, Wiñaywayna, and Choquesuysuy
  • Machu Picchu

What We Provide for You:

  • Briefing 1–2 days before the Trail
  • Pickup from your hotel in Cusco
  • Transport to the trailhead by train (Ollantaytambo – KM104)
  • Entrance tickets for Machu Picchu and the Inca Trail
  • English-speaking guide throughout the entire Trail, including the Machu Picchu Tour
  • Return transport from Aguas Calientes to your hotel in Cusco
  • Breakfast and lunch (Day 1)
  • A total of 2x bus rides between Aguas Calientes and Machu Picchu or vice versa*

*Bus Transport: We offer the option to take the bus twice. Most travelers walk once between Machu Picchu and Aguas Calientes on either Day 1 or Day 2. If you prefer to take the bus both times, you can purchase a separate ticket for $12 (one way) directly at the bus station.
