"The best part of this Trail for me was the first night spent with a local family. They had their own farm, growing mangoes, bananas, cocoa, coffee, coca leaves, limes, oranges, and tangerines. We picked these to prepare our own breakfast for the next day, and in the evening, we made our own chocolate. This wasn’t mentioned on the website, but it was an incredible addition. The food was also fantastic—fresh and straight from their garden. I’ve never tasted mangoes or fresh passion fruit this good anywhere else. The tour itself was well organized, and with our guide Angel, who told great stories, this Trail is an absolute must-do!"

FAQ
With a solid fitness level, the four-day Inca Jungle Trail is manageable. You do need to be a true adventurer who enjoys a challenge, as high-altitude ziplining and white-water rafting are part of this unique Inca Trail experience.
Although there’s no limit on the number of tickets available per day for the Trail itself, we recommend booking your Inca Jungle Trail well in advance (3–6 months). This is because you’ll need a ticket for Machu Picchu, and those are limited each day.
When you book the Inca Jungle Trail with us, a guided tour of Machu Picchu is always included, unlike with other providers. You don’t need to buy a Machu Picchu ticket yourself.
If tickets for a guided tour of Machu Picchu aren’t available on your arrival day (day 5), we’ll arrange an alternative date. With us, you cannot book the Inca Jungle Trail without a visit to Machu Picchu. After all, we believe that visiting Machu Picchu is truly the cherry on top 😉
