What’s Included?
- Briefing 1–2 days prior to the Trail
- Transportation to the starting point in Huaca Wasi
- Entrance tickets for the Lares Trail, 2-day Inca Trail, and Machu Picchu
- English-speaking guide for 4 days, including a guided tour in Machu Picchu (Circuit 3B)
- Meals: 3 breakfasts (Days 2, 3 & 4), 3 lunches (Days 1, 2 & 3), and 1 dinner (Day 1)
- Horses and/or donkeys to carry camping equipment during the Lares Trail
- Boiled, safe drinking water at every meal where water cannot be purchased
- Camping equipment: 2-person tents & sleeping mats
- Horses to carry up to 5 kg of your personal belongings during the Lares Trail
- Train ticket from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes (village at the foot of Machu Picchu)
- Overnight stays in Ollantaytambo and Aguas Calientes, including breakfast
- 2 bus rides between Aguas Calientes and Machu Picchu
- Transportation from Aguas Calientes back to Cusco

A total of 2 bus tickets are included in this booking, and you can choose when to use them:
- At the end of Day 1 (bus down from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes)
- At the start of Day 2 (bus up to Machu Picchu)
- At the end of Day 2 (bus down from Machu Picchu back to Aguas Calientes)
Would you like to take the bus three times instead? No problem! You can purchase an additional one-way ticket for $12 at the bus stations.
Absolutely! On Day 3, you start at KM104 and hike the full 2-day Inca Trail all the way to Machu Picchu.
You start this trek with the Lares Trail. Over the first 2 days, you’ll cover approximately 42 kilometers in total.
As we fully organize the Combi Lares & Inca Trail ourselves, bookings are available from a minimum of 2 participants.
