My boyfriend and I visited Machu Picchu last Friday through Machu Picchu Travel. Because we had limited time, we arranged everything in advance from the Netherlands with Jessie and opted for the 1-day tour.

It was very convenient to have everything arranged beforehand. From abroad, it is almost impossible to organize transport from Cusco yourself, including a connecting PeruRail train and tickets for Machu Picchu. Once in Peru, you are also overwhelmed by the huge number of travel agencies.

The day before departure, we received a clear briefing at our hotel, and on the day itself everything was well organized. The only downside was that it turned out to be a very long day, as our return train from Aguas Calientes was not until 18:20, meaning we only arrived back at our hotel in Cusco at 23:30 (after a pick-up at 03:30 in the morning).

This could have been planned a bit more efficiently, as in our opinion it would have been more than enough to spend around 08:00 to 15:00 in Machu Picchu. However, it may be that no other train tickets were available.

All in all, it was a wonderful day and we were very happy that everything was so well organized! It also gave us a good contact person for another day tour from Cusco.

Highly recommended!

We returned home yesterday evening from the 4-day trek! It was fantastic—truly an unforgettable experience! Everything was perfectly organized and we had a really great and fun group.

We would like to thank you very much for all your care, the smooth communication, and the excellent preparation. Thanks in part to you, our trek was a huge success! We also really enjoyed meeting you, Jorge!

Last April, my boyfriend Jasper and I hiked the 4-day Inca Trail, and I can honestly say it was one of the most beautiful experiences of our lives. From the breathtaking views and the many impressive Inca ruins you encounter every day, to the fun within the group, the climbing, sleeping in a tent, the admiration for the porters and cooks, and finally Machu Picchu on day 4—words simply fall short.

The only thing I can recommend to everyone is: just do it!!

And if you really want to do it right, book it through Jessie and Jorge. Not only do they truly think along with you and take everything off your hands, they are also incredibly helpful, great people, and have a huge amount of Peru experience.

I wish I could be back on the Trail next week!

I returned home on Tuesday from an unforgettable adventure. Peru truly stole my heart. I can say that I am very satisfied with your services and that the organization of the Inca Trail was excellently arranged. I was very lucky with my fellow hikers and was especially happy with our guide Natalia, who was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English.

A deep bow as well to the porters and the cook. Thanks to their hard work, I was able to experience this adventure. The Trail left a deep impression on me. I can highly recommend booking through you. The clear and friendly communication, together with the excellent organization, makes it a great choice for anyone who wants to experience the intensity of Peruvian nature and culture.

Thank you so much as well for the lovely gift—it came in very handy!

At the end of September, I hiked the 2-day Inca Trail with my mother via Machu Pichu Travel. It was nice to go over all possible trail options with Jessie and Jorge beforehand. Once in Peru, everything was well organized. We received a briefing from Bruno, Jorge's brother, the day before departure, and Cesar was our guide during the Trail. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We chose to stay in Agua Calientes for two days so that we had plenty of time at Machu Pichu itself and didn't have to rush for the train back. I highly recommend that. Furthermore, on the way back, we got off in Ollantambo instead of going straight back to Cusco; it is definitely worth it. Thanks, Jessie and Jorge, for the organization!
